These (Easy & Healthy) 4-Ingredient Chocolate Chip Pancakes are fluffy, easy to make, and the best way to start your productive morning ;)
That's a tricky one! Overall, since oatmeal pancakes are made with whole grains and naturally sweetened with whole ingredients, they do keep breakfast on the healthy side. And they taste just as delicious as restaurant-worthy pancakes if you add a little vanilla extract and cinammon ;)
Also, being that we are using Oat Flour (rolled oats pulsed into a flour-like texture)... these pancakes are rich in nutrients such as manganese, molybdenum, phosphorous, copper, biotin, vitamin B1, magnesium, chromium, and fiber!
I use both quick oats and old-fashioned rolled oats. Either work just fine! As long as they are pulsed to a fine flour-like texture.
Without the chocolate chips, I calculated the nutrition for these pancakes below:
Stack the cooked (and cooled) pancakes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer for a couple of hours. Then, transfer the pancake to a freezer safe bag for up to 3 weeks.
Reheat frozen pancakes in the oven at 350F. Place the pancakes in a single layer on a baking sheet, then cover with foil. Bake for 5-10 minutes. Enjoy warm!
Now, it’s time to grab our aprons and begin baking deliciousness! ’till next time! xxL
