I always forget how Easy Cacio e Pepe Pasta is to make and the fact that it’s ready in 15 minutes is even more gorgeous! It's just 5 simple ingredients, but so delicious when served with burrata and crispy prosciutto for an elevated dinner.

Ingredients you'll need:

  • 8 oz. Pasta, cooked
  • 1 cup Reserved Pasta Water
  • 1 tsp. Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp. Fine Sea Salt
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan, about 3 oz.
  • Olive Oil
  • Burrata
  • Prosciutto
  • Fresh Basil, chopped, for garnishing

Why is my Cacio e Pepe Sauce Curdling?

The problem most people encounter with making cacio e pepe is with the sauce curdling. The curdling is typically caused by adding water after adding the parmesan. You always want to add the parmesan after the water has been brought to a soft boil and is hot enough to melt the parmesan.

Easy Cacio e Pepe Pasta

With only 5 ingredients, this is a quick and easy dinner recipe you'll want to keep on hand!

Ingredients

Servings: 4-5

  • BUBBL’R Lemon Lime Twist’r, forserving
  • 8 oz. Pasta, cooked
  • 1 cup Reserved Pasta Water
  • 1 tsp. Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp. Fine Sea Salt
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan, about 3 oz.
  • Olive Oil
  • Burrata
  • Prosciutto
  • Fresh Basil, chopped, for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package direction, until aldente. Before draining reserve 1 cup pasta water.
  2. In a large saucepan, add the prosciutto in bite sized pieceswith a small drizzle of olive oil to cook until crispy, about 1 minutes on eachside. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add the cracked black pepper to the saucepan and cook for 30seconds.
  4. Add the salt and reserved pasta water. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add the grated parmesan, then whisk until smooth and creamy,about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and toss until well coated in thecreamy sauce.
  7. Serve warm with the burrata, crispy prosciutto, and chopped basil.
  8. Enjoy with BUBBL’R Lemon Lime Twist’r for a complimentary drink!
