This easy ginger shot packs a punch with three simple ingredients. Magic in a bottle?

Ingredients

Servings: 6

  • 1/2 Fresh Pineapple, or 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 4 1" knobs of Fresh Ginger
  • 1-2 Lemons, juiced, freshly squeezed
  • Black Pepper or Cayenne Pepper, when ready to drink

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the pineapple and ginger knobs.
  2. If using a juicer, press the ginger and fruit through the juicer.
  3. If using a blender, blend on high speed until smooth with 1/3 cup water. Using a fine mesh strainer, press with a spatula to remove pulp.
  4. Use 1/4 cup per "shot" with a dash of pepper.
