What better way to celebrate Friendsgiving than with a Pizza Party?! 🍕🍂🐠
This year, I partnered with Wild Planet (aka my favorite canned fish everrr because of the high quality and sustainability of their products) to make homemade sourdough pizzas to be served with a crisp apple harvest salad, roasted parmesan carrots, and an olives-feta-dill dish for the ultimate friendsgiving dinner… check it out ⬇️
The first pizza we made was a Mediterranean Tuna Pizza ... literally the savory, salty dream!
1 – 1.5 cups Shredded Mozzarella or Italian Blend Cheese
1/4 cup Red Onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. Capers
¼ cup Fresh Dill
Salt & Black Pepper, to taste
I used my Overnight Sourdough Pizza Recipe for the pizza crusts but you can also use store-bought or any yeast-based dough recipes!
Sourdough Pizza Ingredients:
350 grams Water, (preferably lukewarm)
110 grams Sourdough Starter, (active and bubbly)
500 grams All Purpose or Bread Flour
10 grams Salt
Makes 4 individual pizzas... usually I will double the recipe so you have plenty and can even make some pizzas for leftovers the next day!

The second pizza we made was a Pesto, Salmon, & Burrata Pizza that is my go to, and always a fan favorite!
Ingredients you'll need:
1 Pizza Dough Ball, homemade or store bought
1 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 cup Fresh Baby Arugula
1 ball Fresh Burrata
3-4 tbsp. Fresh Pesto
1 – 1.5 cups Shredded Mozzarella
1 5-oz can Wild Planet Wild Pink Salmon
Salt & Black Pepper, to taste
You'll add the fresh baby arugula and burrata afterwards, but a game changing tip is to allow the burrata to sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes so it's super soft and fluffy!
Side Dishes for Pizza:
Arugula or Chopped Kale Salads
Apple Fall Harvest Kale Salad (recipe HERE - this is the salad I made for this Friendsgiving pizza party, minus the sweet potatoes!)
Oven-Roasted Carrots (love garnishing with grated parmesan, a drizzle of honey and flaky sea salt)
Wild Planet is committed to providing only the finest sustainably caught seafood. They have a variety of canned fish from anchovies (for the best Caesar salads) to wild pink salmon and wild caught tuna. All Wild Planet tuna is 100% sustainably pole & line, troll, or handling caught - nets never being used! Their methods catch only smaller migratory fish, that are naturally lower in mercury - a win, win!
Find a local retailer nearest to you by using their Store Locator HERE. I typically buy their products at my local Whole Foods Market!
