It really depends on the thickness of your salmon fillet. I usually prefer to bake at 425F for 15-18 minutes, but smaller fillets at 12-15 minutes. In this recipe, we are baking at a lower temperature for a few minutes longer to help the pesto's flavors really absorb into the salmon fillet.
Salmon is best eaten within 20 minutes of it being finished cooking; however, you can store any leftover salmon in air tight container in the fridge for up to 1-2 days. I recommend not letting the salmon sit out more than 30 minutes or even letting it cool completely before storing away. The sooner the better!
