Blackened Jalapeno Honey Salmon
A quick and easy dinner recipe that is a little spicy, a little sweet, and completely satisfying!
Ingredients
Servings: 4
- 4 BUBBL'R Lemon Lime Twist'r
- 4 Salmon Fillets (4 - 6 oz. each)
- 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 2 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
For the Sauce:
- 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp. Honey
- 2 tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 1-2 Jalapenos, chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp. Parsley
- 1/3 cup Water
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk all the sauce ingredients together. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper together. Evenly sprinkle onto the salmon fillets and gently pat the seasoning mix down onto the fillets.
- In a large cast iron skillet, heat up the one tablespoon olive oil over medium high heat.
- Add the seasoned salmon fillets to sear for 3 minutes on each side. Remove from cast iron on to a plate.
- Add the sauce mixture into the cast iron skillet and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the salmon fillets back into the cast iron skillet. Using a spoon, coat the salmon fillets in sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until salmon is fully cooked.
- Serve the salmon warm, garnishing with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices. Enjoy with Lemon Lime Twist'r for a refreshing drink!
