Store leftover braised beef in an airtight container with lid in the fridge up to 4 days.
To reheat and retain quality of the meat, add a little olive oil or 1/4 cup beef stock. Place in the oven in a pan with a cover to reheat for 20-25 minutes, or on the stovetop in a saucepan with lid for 8-10 minutes.
The key to keeping crostini from getting soggy you really need to brush them with olive oil before toasting to act as a barrier to moisture. The goat cheese in this case will also act as a barrier.
The Braised Beef can be made in advance! But ultimately, I recommend assembling the crostini right before serving for optimal texture and flavors.
I truly hope you all enjoy this treasured recipe that has nestled its way into our hearts here in the ABM kitchen! ’till next time… xxL

“"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
Gently braised beef in a rich red wine sauce and mushrooms served with creamy goat cheese on top of golden and crunchy crostini. I'm calling this crostini THE appetizer recipe of the Fall season!
