My Maple-Glazed & Bacon-Wrapped Green Bean Bunches is one Thanksgiving Side Dish you won’t want to miss out on! The bacon is naturally caramelized in the maple syrup while the green beans are perfectly tender for the ultimate savory-sweet combo
How to make Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans?
Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
Cut the bacon strips in half. Add a small handful of green beans to the center of each half, then roll together, placing seam-side down on the pan.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and maple syrup with the cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
Brush the bacon with the glaze then bake until crispy and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
Brush once more with the glaze (with a clean utensil), then serve warm. Enjoy!
Can I make the Green Bundles in advance?
Absolutely! I would recommend baking them for 8-ish minutes, just before the bacon becomes crispy and golden brown. Let them cool completely, pack away in an air-tight container, then re-heat at 400F for 5-8 minutes when ready to serve!
How to store leftovers?
Store any leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days. You can reheat at 400F for 5-8 minutes, or until crispy and warm :)
What to save with green beans?
Great question! Well, the possibilities are limitless...
Steak
Oven Baked Chicken
Mashed Potatoes
Baked Sweet Potatoes
Pork Tenderloin
Salmon
