Hot Honey Crispy Oven Baked Chicken

This Hot Honey Crispy Oven Baked Chicken is crispy, tender chicken on the inside, easy to make for busy weeknights, and so delicious with sweet potato fries and ranch!

Ingredients you'll need:

  • 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. Chicken Breasts, boneless and skinless, sliced into strips
  • 2 cups Cornflakes, crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan
  • 1 tbsp. Dried Oregano Leaves
  • 2 large Eggs, beaten
  • 1 tbsp. Milk
  • 4 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Ranch, for serving
  • Sweet Potato Fries, for serving

How to Make Crispy Oven Baked Chicken:

  1. Preheat oven to 430F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Set up your battering station with three (3) bowls. In the first bowl, add the flour. In the second bowl, whisk the eggs and milk. In the third bowl, mix the crushed cornflakes, grated parmesan, and dried oregano.
  3. Dredge the chicken strips through the flour, then the beaten eggs, then coat well in the cornflake mixture. Place the chicken strips on the prepared baking pan. Repeat with remaining chicken.
  4. Drizzle the chicken generously with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  5. Mix the honey and hot sauce according to taste, then drizzle on the chicken prior to serving.
  6. Enjoy warm with ranch on the side and sweet potato fries for an easy dinner!

How to Store Crispy Chicken? How to Reheat?

Store leftover chicken in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 450F for 3-4 minutes on each side, until crispy again.
