Easy Mongolian Chicken

·

My Easy Mongolian Chicken is an American-Asian dish that's bound to impress your guests this weekend! It takes about 20 minutes to make, and is the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and savory for all those comfort food delights.

How to make Mongolian Chicken...

  1. Make the "fried" chicken by tossing the chicken in the flour, then cooking until golden brown in the olive oil.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to sauce until thick and delicious!

Yep, it's THAT simple ;)

Can I reheat the chicken?

Absolutely!

  • Microwave: Place the chicken and rice in a microwave-safe bowl, add an ice cube in the center, then cover with parchment paper. Microwave for 2-3 minutes, or until warm.
  • Stovetop: Warm up in a saucepan over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep from burning.
  • Oven: Cook covered at 350F for 10-15 minutes.

Now, it’s time to grab our aprons and begin baking deliciousness! ’till next time! xxL

I made this last night, very very good. BUT a little confused because step 1 has mixing the chicken with 2 tbsp. flour--- then down to step 5 calls for adding flour also. I did add flour to thicken up the sauce some....
