(Air Fryer) Crispy Hot Honey Salmon Bites

Crispy Hot Honey Salmon Bites made in the Air Fryer in under 20 minutes... it can't get much easier and tastier than that! Served with a simple chipotle sauce made with greek yogurt for even more protein and nutrition.

How to make Air Fryer Salmon Bites?

  1. Combine the panko breadcrumbs and all seasonings into a large container or bowl. Add the sliced salmon and toss to coat the salmon in the mixture.
  2. If you want them extra crispy, dip the salmon bites in a beaten egg and more panko breadcrumbs.
  3. For extra color, sprinkle with more paprika.
  4. Add to your air fryer and drizzle with the olive oil.
  5. Bake at 380F for 8-10 minutes, until fully cooked and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the honey and hot sauce together. Add to the cooked salmon bites and toss to coat.
  7. To make the chipotle sauce, simply combine all ingredients into a food processor to bend until smooth. Enjoy warm!

Simply mix together hot sauce and honey!

How to make homemade chipotle sauce with yogurt?

Combine all the following ingredients into a food processor to pulse until smooth:

  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Chipotle Pepper (from canned chipotles in adobo sauce)
  • 1 Garlic Cloves, peeled
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Honey
  • Salt & Black Pepper, to taste

How to store and reheat leftover salmon?

Store any leftovers in an airtight container immediately in the fridge for up to 1 day. Seafood is best enjoyed immediately.

Ingredients

Servings: 2

For the Salmon Bites:

  • 2 Salmon Fillets, skin removed, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1-2 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp. EACH: Garlic Powder, Dried Italian Herb Seasoning, & Salt
  • 1 tbsp. Sweet Paprika
  • 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1-2 tbsp. Hot Sauce

For the Healthier Chipotle Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Chipotle Pepper (from canned chipotles in adobo sauce)
  • 1 Garlic Cloves, peeled
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Honey
  • Salt & Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  6. If using the Oven: Bake at 425F for 10-15 minutes, until fully cooked and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the honey and hot sauce together. Add to the cooked salmon bites and toss to coat.
  8. To make the chipotle sauce, simply combine all ingredients into a food processor to bend until smooth. Enjoy warm!

So good! Loved it! I did the double dip for and it was definitely crispy and perfect! I suggest double or over a single as I tried both ways.

Hi I’m really struggling to loose weight and your recipes look amazing but I can’t seem to find any information on calories at all ? It would be so helpful if there was im too scared to eat anything otherwise. Is there a way of seeing this on your website

The recipe was delilcious!! I absolutely loved the hot honey drizzle! I actually made a similar recipe last week without the panko. I think I prefer the salmon bites without the panko. I just seasoned the salmon, then coated it in a little olive oil. It was crunchy and delicious w/o the need for (or mess of) the bread crumbs.

Yes! There should be oven baking instructions within the blogpost, but I usually will "fry" them in the oven at 400F for 5-8 minutes on each side... make sure you drizzle them in olive oil to replicate those crispy edges ;)
