(Air Fryer) Bang Bang Chicken Skewers

A quick prep time, easy to make chicken dinner recipe with a homemade bang bang sauce that's perfect for the whole family! These (Air Fryer) Bang Bang Chicken Skewers will not disappoint!

How to Make Bang Bang Chicken Skewers:

  1. Make the Homemade Bang Bang Sauce (see recipe below).
  2. In a separate large bowl, combine the chicken, olive oil, and seasonings (paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper). Toss until well coated in the seasonings.
  3. Layer 3-4 pieces of the seasoned chicken onto each wooden skewers. Place the chicken kebabs on your air fryer rack.
  4. Place 1/3 cup of the bang bang sauce in a separate bowl, reserving the larger portion for after baking. Use the separated 1/3 cup bang bang sauce to brush onto the chicken kebabs.
  5. Bake at 400F for 12-15 minutes, flip halfway through, until golden (internal temperature reaches 165F).
  6. Enjoy warm with freshly chopped parsley and the reserved bang bang sauce.

How to Make Homemade Bang Bang Sauce:

Ingredients you'll need...

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise (or Full Fat Greek Yogurt)
  • 3-4 tbsp. Sriracha
  • 2 tbsp. Honey
  • 1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder, or 2 Minced Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. EACH: Salt & Black Pepper

How to make...

  1. To make the bang bang sauce, combine the mayo, sriracha, honey, vinegar, garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp. salt & black pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Adjust ingredients to taste to enjoy!

Ingredients

Servings: 4

  • 2 lbs. Chicken Breasts, skinless and boneless, cut into 1" cubes
  • 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. EACH: Paprika, Garlic Powder, Salt, & Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise (or Full Fat Greek Yogurt)
  • 3-4 tbsp. Sriracha
  • 2 tbsp. Honey
  • 1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder, or 2 Minced Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. EACH: Salt & Black Pepper
  • Parsley, for garnishing
  • Mini Wood Skewers, soaked in water for 20-30 minutes

Instructions

  1. To make the bang bang sauce, combine the mayo, soy sauce, sriracha, honey, vinegar, garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp. salt & black pepper in a large bowl. Whisk until smooth. Set aside.
