This is a shockingly easy holiday appetizer that is like a gourmet version of the iconic Chex mix. Baked in the oven, this Rosemary Parmesan Seasoned Crackers Mix is tossed in a bunch of seasonings, fresh herbs, and parmesan for the most delicious snack mix.

How to Store Homemade Snack Mix?

Store these seasoned crackers mix in an airtight container at room temperature (away from heat / moisture), such as a large glass jar with lid. Make sure that the crackers and pretzels have been fully cooled prior to storing away. This snack mix will last up to 2 weeks.

Ingredients

Servings: 20+

  • 6 oz. Ritz Crackers
  • 4 cups Pretzels
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan
  • 1/3 cup Dry Buttermilk Powder
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 6 tbsp. Melted Butter
  • 3 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp. EACH: Sesame Seeds & Poppyseeds
  • 1 tbsp. EACH: Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Soy Sauce, & Dried Chives
  • 1 tbsp. Parsley, dried or freshly chopped
  • 1 tbsp. Rosemary, dried or freshly chopped
  • 1 tsp. EACH: Sea Salt & Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Dried Mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line a large rimmed baking pan with parchment paper. 
  2. In a large bowl, combine all the dry seasonings. Add the grated parmesan, honey, soy sauce, herbs, olive oil, and melted butter. Mix well. 
  3. In a separate extra large bowl, combine the pretzels and ritz crackers. Toss once to mix. 
  4. Add the seasonings-butter mixture to the pretzels and crackers. Toss gently with your hands until the crackers are well coated in the seasonings. 
  5. Transfer the crackers to the prepared baking pan. 
  6. Bake for 18-25 minutes, until golden, rotating the pan halfway through baking.
