What is Purecane?

Purecane Baking Sweeteners (aka fermented sugarcane Reb M) are zero-calorie and low-glycemic sweeteners that can be used in replacement of normal sugars to reduce your intake of sugar, calories, and carbohydrates in your daily diet.

What makes them different than other brands is that it is naturally derived from sugarcane for the healthiest, best-tasting sweeteners that have NO impact on blood sugar levels, no artificial chemicals, and no weird aftertaste!

How to make Millionaire's Bacon & Cheddar Puff Pastry Twists?

  • Step 1: Lightly roll out the puff pastry.
  • Step 2: Brush with an egg wash.

  • Step 3: Add a thin layer of brown sugar. You don't want the bacon to be overwhelmingly sweet, so I recommend sticking to 1/4 cup or less.

  • Step 4: Add a layer of cheddar cheese and freshly chopped rosemary leaves.
  • Step 5: Use your hands to lightly press down the cheese into the puff pastry.

  • Step 6: Fold the puff pastry in half (hotdog-style / lengthwise).
  • Step 7: Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to slice into 12 strips.

  • Step 8: Add a slice (or half slice) of bacon on top of each strip, then twist.
  • Step 9: Brush with an olive oil or egg wash, then bake until golden brown and crispy.

  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
