Quick, easy, delicious... the trio for a perfect sandwich! These Elevated Everyday Croissant Sandwiches are great for lunches, dinners, or weekend brunches.
Ingredients to make these everyday croissant sandwiches:
1 Croissant
3-4 slices Chicken Breasts, thinly sliced
2-3 slices Prosciutto
1 slice Havarti Cheese
Handful for Mustard Microgreens or Baby Arugula
1 tsp. Dijon Mustard
1 tsp. Honey
1/2 Lemon, juiced
Everything Bagel Seasoning, for topping
How to make everyday croissant sandwiches?
Preheat oven to 350F.
Slice the croissant in half lengthwise.
Layer the croissant with the havarti cheese, chicken breast slices, prosciutto, and arugula.
In a small bowl, mix the mustard, honey, and lemon juice together. Brush on the top of the croissant. Garnish with everything bagel seasoning.
Place in a small dish and bake 8-10 minutes, until lightly toasted and warmed through. Enjoy!
Can croissant sandwiches be made in advance?
Absolutely! I made a bunch of these sandwiches this day and stored them in the fridge overnight to have for dinner the next day with my family.
How to store croissant sandwiches?
Store leftover croissant sandwiches, or if meal prepping them, in an airtight container or storage bag up to 3 days in the fridge. They can be eaten cold. However, if given the time and ability, I recommend reheating in the oven at 350F for 8-10 minutes :)
Now, it’s time to grab our aprons and begin baking deliciousness! ’till next time! xxL
