How to make Philly cheesesteak Sliders?

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Saute the veggies in olive oil over medium high heat until tender.
  3. Break up the deli meat into smaller bite-sized pieces and add into the skillet. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the Dijon, Worcestershire dsauce, melted butter, paprika, and Dan’O Seasoning. If adding, stir in the mayonnaise.
  5. Slice the slider rolls in half lengthwise.
  6. Layer the rolls with half of the sliced cheese, the meat and bell pepper mixture, and then the remaining sliced cheese. Add the top buns.
  7. Brush the rolls with butter or olive oil and top with freshly chopped parsley.
  8. Bake for 10-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the slider tops are browned. Enjoy warm!

Can I make ahead the sliders?

Yes, most slider recipes can be made ahead of time! You can fully make this recipe, then let the sliders cool completely before you cover with aluminum foil and store in the fridge up to 3 days in advance. When ready to serve, reheat in the oven at 350F covered for 10-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and warmed throughout?

How to store leftover sliders?

Store in an airtight container or storage bag in the fridge up to 3 days.

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian Slider Rolls
  • ½ lb. Deli Corned Beef
  • 1 lb. Deli Roast Beef
  • 1 lb. Provolone Cheese, thinly sliced
  • 2 Green Bell Peppers, thinly sliced
  • ½ Yellow Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Dan’O Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter
  • 2 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • ¼ tsp. Paprika
  • (Optional) ¼ cup Mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly grease or butter a large baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil to heat up for 1 minute.
  3. Add the sliced green bell peppers and onions to sauté 3-4 minutes, until peppers are tender.
  4. Break up the deli meat into smaller bite-sized pieces and add into the skillet. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the Dijon, Worcestershire dsauce, melted butter, paprika, and Dan’O Seasoning. If adding, stir in the mayonnaise.
  6. Slice the slider rolls in half lengthwise. Place the bottom buns in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Layer the rolls with half of the sliced cheese, the meat and bell pepper mixture, and then the remaining sliced cheese. Add the top buns.
  8. Brush the rolls with butter or olive oil and top with freshly chopped parsley.
  9. Bake for 10-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the slider tops are browned. Enjoy warm!
