These Cream Cheese & Strawberry Danishes are the essence of summer to me! They're bright and sweet and flaky and oh so yummy :)
What is a Danish?
A Danish pastry (often shortened to just Danish) is a multilayered laminated sweet pastry - a concept brought to Denmark by Austrian bakers where the recipe was change a little bit to accommodate to the Danes' liking.
And while you can make the Danish pastry by hand - which would be amazing - puff pastry is a great altenerative that provides the same flaky crust base without the struggle and mess!
