Air Fryer Chicken Tenders & Honey-Sage Roasted Carrots
An easy weeknight air fryer dinner recipe that is perfect for both kids and adults!
Ingredients
Servings: 4
For the Chicken Tenders:

- 2 cups Panko Breadscrumbs
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ¾ tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 tsp. Garlic Granules
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 2-3 large Eggs
- 2 tbsp. Milk
- 1 lb. Chicken Breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
For the Roasted Carrots:
- 1 lb. Baby Carrots
- 2 Shallots, quartered
- 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp. Honey
- 1 tbsp. Fresh Sage, chopped
- Salt & Black Pepper, to taste
For the Healthy Homemade Ranch:
- ½ cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- Juice of 1 Lemon
- 2 tbsp. Water
- 2 tbsp. Fresh Dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp. Honey
- 1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 tsp. Dijon Mustard
- 1 tsp. Garlic Granules
- Salt & Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions
For the Chicken Tenders:
- Place the “crispier” plate into the Cosori Air Fryer.
- Set up your battering station with two large bowls. In the first bowl, whisk the eggs and milk. In the second bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, garlic, and paprika.
- Slice the chicken into strips. Dredge the chicken into the panko mixture, then the beaten eggs, then back into the panko to be well-coated. Repeat and place inside the prepared air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Drizzle generously with olive oil. Place the air fryer basket back into the air fryer.
- Select the “Air Fryer” function and change the temperature to 400F to bake for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy.
For the Roasted Carrots:
- Toss all ingredients together. Place inside the air fryer basket.
- Select the “Air Fryer” function to bake at 400F for 8-10 minutes, until tender and slightly crispy.
For the Healthy Homemade Ranch:
- Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. If you find the ranch too tangy, add olive oil to taste. Enjoy!
