Tasty Snacks For Traveling (Plane Approved!)

·

I don't know what it is about traveling, but I'm alwayyss wanting something to snack on!

Most airline's foods are full of sodium and priced exorbitantly, so the safe bet is to bring your own food.

My upcoming flight is earlyy in the morning, so I tend to lean towards more fruits and oatmeal.

Oatmeal is a GREAT source of fiber, especially paired with blueberries, which are all TSA approved! Some of my favorites are Vigilant Eats Superfood Cereal, Bob's Red Mills Muesli, Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes, and Qi'a Superfood Oatmeal. {Of course, you can also always make your own oatmeal: such as adding raw oats, raisins, sliced dates, coconut shavings, cinnamon, protein powder, etc.} Just ask your flight attendant for hot water or milk, and you are good to go!!

TIP: Eating oatmeal on a plane is a great time to mix in unflavored collagen peptides (pictured is Vital Proteins) or protein powder.

Another great source of protein, that will keep you filled longer, is granola bars! Some of my favorites are Bobo's and GoMacro Macrobar. Along with granola bars, dried fruits & nuts will also keep you fuller for longer periods of time. You can either buy a nut mix or make your own!

Of course, depending on the length of your trip, you always need a cheat snack! For healthier options, I go with Annie's White Cheddar Bunnies or a dark chocolate bar!

Safe travels!
