This (Quick & Easy) Bang Bang Shrimp is crispy on the outside and served with a homemade spicy yogurt sauce all in under 30 minutes! It's high in protein and bound to be a new favorite appetizer or dinner!
How to make bang bang shrimp?
For the sauce, simply whisk all ingredients together until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Butterfly the shrimp.
Whisk the egg whites until frothy.
Heat up a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil to heat up for 2-3 minute.
In the meantime, add the flour to a small bowl.
Dip the shrimp in the egg whites, then the flour, then place carefully into the hot olive oil. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Let them cool on a wire rack lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oils.

Bang bang sauce is traditionally made with mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, and sriracha for a little extra "bang" of heat. But I've made a few little tweaks for a healthier version below!
How to store leftover bang bang shrimp?
Store leftovers in an air tight container in the fridge up to 3 days. When ready to eat, reheat in the oven at 350F for 5-6 minutes, or until crispy again.

4 17-fl oz. Vita Ice Orange Mango Naturally Flavored Sparkling Water, for serving
1 lb. Large Shrimp, deveined and shell off
2 large Egg Whites
1/3 cup Flour
1/4 cup Olive Oil
For the Sauce:
1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
3 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 tbsp. Coconut Aminos, or Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp. Hot Sauce
1 tsp. Garlic Powder, or freshly minced garlic
1/2 tsp. Salt
