(High Protein) Sausage & Cheddar Breakfast Biscuits
These sausage & cheddar protein breakfast biscuits are flaky, fluffy, crisp on top… I could even eat these for dinner!
Ingredients

- 1 3/4 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 4 large Eggs, beaten
- 2 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp. EACH: Garlic Powder & Salt
- 1 tbsp. Baking Powder
- 1/4 cup Softened Butter
- 1 1/2 cups Baby Spinach, chopped
- 2 tbsp. Fresh Chives, chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups Shredded Cheddar, or freshly grated
- 1 lb. Ground Breakfast Sausage, browned
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, salt, and baking powder. Add the softened butter and mix with your hands until crumb-like texture.
- Add the yogurt and beaten eggs. Mix until almost all flour is absorbed.
- Add the chopped spinach, herbs, shredded cheddar, and browned sausage. Mix until well-combined.
- Use a large ice cream scooper or spoon to drop 12 evenly portioned biscuit-like shapes onto the prepared pan.
- Bake at 400F for 6 minutes, then reduce heat to 350F for 15-20 minutes, until deeply golden. Enjoy!
