Most definitely! Almond butter exceeds in health benefits - a great source of magnesium, Vitamin E, Vitamin B12, copper, fiber, monounsaturated fat, and protein - all of which are essential for a healthy heart. Bananas are a good source of manganese, potassium, and Vitamin C - which is great for healthy skin, blood pressure, heart, and digestive system. Plus, bananas have been know to boost energy levels! Coconut is amazing for bone health and is rich in iron and copper to protect your cells.
Although I'm not an expert almond butter grower, there is a few tricks up my sleeve that I use to find the most nutritious almond butter - yes, there are bad almond butters on the grocery shelves that you do not want to buy!
First, try to find an almond butter with almonds that are "organic" and "raw." Almond trees are commonly sprayed with chemical NPK fertilizers, pesticides and/or growth hormones - which can be very harmful to your body's overall health.
Second, try to find an almond butter that has natural oil residing at the top of the jar. This is a good thing! Often times, the creamy and "no-stir" almond butter is filled with hydrogenated oils or trans fats, such as palm oil, to solidify the nut butter. It is best to buy an almond butter where the only ingredient is "roasted almonds."
Now, it is time to make the simplest, fulfilling breakfast in a matter of minutes!
